“One Year Supply” was created in collaboration with @medium__small . From our first meeting the process of creating something together was inspiring and intuitive. While we have very different practices, we aligned on our love for aluminum, modularity, and slick hardware solutions. The screen is comprised of four hardwood and aluminum frames, with expanded aluminum mesh panels suspended within. Sculpted mycelium provides contrast to the rigid regularity of the framework. The panels are lashed together with hemp webbing that creates a hinge inspired by a Jacob’s Ladder.
