This audio piece comes from the loving work of many hands. It stems from
the wise words of agrarian philosopher, Wendell Berry, and is carried
by the voice of Stefania Quaini. This piece captures moments only
possible because of the decades of work put into Cascina Lago Scuro by the
Grasselli family and their community. I was lucky enough to
witness some of that work, their connection to the land, and respect
for the natural systems embedded in the farm. I hope that others may
learn from their example.
